How We Help
Your digital or technology startup already has a product or service in one of the Francophone Africa markets. It has demonstrated traction and is bringing in revenue. Now you want to grow further, potentially expand to other countries, and find investment to support that growth.
This is where L’Afrique Excelle comes in and lends support. We match you with successful entrepreneur mentors and investors so you get access to skills, knowledge, partners and funding to help your business grow.
And while social impact is not a requirement, we are particularly interested in helping companies that use emerging technology for both social and financial gains.

Mentoring from experienced international and in-country entrepreneurs, investors and experts.
You will have access to a wide panel of mentors and advisors with extensive local and international experience. They are successful entrepreneurs or investors themselves. Based on your needs, you will have access to domain and business expertise that matters to your company. Each L’Afrique Excelle company will be paired with two mentors: one local mentor from one of the Francophone Africa countries with business and sector knowledge and one global mentor with international and startup funding expertise, to provide the most complete guidance throughout the program.
Mentoring is a key component of the program and lasts 6 months in total: 1,5 months between the two residencies and 4,5 months after the final residency in France. It requires time and dedication on both sides (4-6 hours per month).
