ALMOKTAR ALLAHOURY

Co-founder and CEO SahelInnov

Almoktar is the co-founder and CEO of CIPMEN, the first business incubator in Niger and the founder of SahelInnov, the regional ecosystem for startups in Sahel region. Before that, Almoktar worked 7 years in consulting for major firms such as Accenture Consulting and Performances Management Consulting in Europe and Africa. He is the co-founder of 2 start- ups: Nexture consulting in Niger and Arweil consulting in France.

FREDERIQUE BISSERIER

Project Coordinator at VC4A

Frederique spent most of her professional life leading complex multi-country projects with multiple stakeholders for organizations such as Kantar, Philips, Heineken, Danone. She brings more than 20 years of experience in diverse marketing and communication roles in the private sector in both developed and emerging countries.

Issam Chleuh

Co-founder and Managing Director at Suguba

Issam’s experience, spanning over 10 years, has been focused on launching successful entrepreneurial ventures, structuring funds, configuring financial reporting and ESG systems, leading transactions due diligence & valuations, managing stakeholders and building networks. He also co-founded Impact Hub Bamako in 2016, the second Francophone hub in the network.

SIMON DUCHATELET

Programs Officer - Entrepreneurship & Innovation at World Bank Group

Simon is responsible for various programs within the World Bank Group. He specializes in helping entrepreneurship, ecosystem building and innovation in Africa and Asia. He participated in the launch of several innovation centers (Sahel Agribusiness & Innovation Center, Mauritania Climate Innovation Center) and in the acceleration program XL Africa in 2017

THOMAS GILQUIN

Project Manager at CIPMEN

Thomas is project manager, in charge of funding solution at CIPMEN. He is specialized on entrepreneurship and start-ups funding. During his studies at ESCE, he developed a growing interest for African markets and start-up ecosystem on the continent. He founded a student association, AEDA (student association for development in Africa), to promote this economy towards management schools students.

ROUFFAHI KOABO

Co-founder and CEO at CIPMEN

Rouffahi KOABO is the CEO of CIPMEN, the first business incubator in Niger – specialized in ICT, Agribusiness and renewable energy – and the CEO of SahelInnov, the regional ecosystem for startups in Sahel region.

Before CIPMEN,
Rouffahi has worked for 10 years in the field of corporate consulting in digital transformation, data protection for major firms in America, Europe and Africa. He is the co-founder of
FIDENI (a private equity fund of Niger’s Diaspora), 3 startups in Niger and one in
France. 

ALEXANDRE LAURE

Senior Private Sector Specialist at World Bank Group

Alexandre has more than 10 years of experience in consulting, creating and developing startups in Africa. He is particularly involved in finding solutions using new technologies and entrepreneurship to address climate change issues.

ZOE LU

Digital Entrepreneurship Program at World Bank Group

Zoe began her career in consulting companies, before joining the World Bank 5 years ago. She provides technical assistance to World Bank-supported incubators in sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on building a pool of women entrepreneurs in STEM careers.

Fayelle Ouane

Co-founder and Managing Director at Suguba

Fayelle experience, spanning over 12 years, has been focused on management consulting, business strategy and operations, including building businesses, leading multinationals’ penetration and expansion in Africa. Her added value is particularly strong on strategic advice, change management, project and people management, process review.

ALICE PETETIN

CEO by interim at La Fabrique

Alice is a business developer and interim Director at La Fabrique, a social business incubator based in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). She works with social entrepreneurs to create strong and impactful businesses in West Africa since 2016. Her expertise also includes project management, partnership development and the organization of impactful events.

ABDOUL AZIZ SY

Co-Founder Impact Hub Dakar

Abdoul Aziz is specialist in project management, especially in ITC. He is the co-founder and leader of DECK and IMPACT DAKAR, two key organisations in the Dakar startups ecosystem

Alina Vinogradova

Programs and Partnerships Lead at VC4A

Alina develops and manages startup support programs run by VC4A leveraging partnerships with key startup ecosystem players across the African continent, with over 10 years of corporate experience in a variety of commercial roles.

Ben White

Founder and CEO at VC4A

An angel investor and partner at Sanaga Ventures, Ben is also the cofounder of AfriLabs, a pan-African network of innovation hubs, and sits on the board of ActivSpaces, a Cameroon based incubator. Ben is a cofounder of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN) and in 2007 he founded Venture Capital for Africa (VC4A), the leading online platform serving the African startup community.

Wilhelm “Moonshot” Faaga

XL Superhero and Ambassador

Wilhelm’s first name stands for Will + Helm. Wilhelm is also a lunar impact crater in the southern part of the Moon, which explain is nickname “Moonshot”. Faaga, his family name, means light in More (a local language spoken by the majority of the population in Burkina Faso). He is a Diaspora, modern and proud of his origins on the continent. He is originally from Mossi, Burkina Faso. Age: 25 years. His superpower is obviously speed and his ability to accelerate and bend time and space for startups to turn into scaleups or help technology leapfrog.
